The M117R Flanger Pedal from MXR is a modulation effect that creates a variety of sweeping space sounds and dynamic jet plane effects, short delays, chorus, and vibrato. It can be used with electric guitar, bass or keyboards for live performance, recording, and more.
The MXR Flanger has four tweakable parameters for conjuring up a plethora of effects and tonal textures: Manual sets the degree of phase shifting, Width adjusts the intensity of the time delay, Speed regulates the speed of the time delay, and Regen controls the intensity of the overall effect.
A footswitch toggles the effect on and off, and a blue LED indicates when the effect is on. The pedal is powered by two 9V batteries or an 18 VDC adapter such as the Dunlop ECB004/ECB004E, or a DC Brick power supply (sold separately).
