he Behringer WD300 Warp Distortion Pedal is a thoroughly modern distortion stompbox that provides the over-the-top gain and dark tonalities of today’s rock. The SUB switch toggles a low-frequency boost at around 90 Hz, reproducing the resonant frequency of a 4 x 12 speaker stack. This is very useful for direct-to-computer recording in tight quarters.
The WARP control varies the WD300’s mid-frequency response, from a country-rock boost in the low-mids to a scooped-out metal sound. This control gives the WD300 its tonal flexibility.
