Experience legendary analog studio compression in an affordable 2 RU package with the 76-KT from Klark Teknik, a recreation of the iconic 1176LN compressor, including D and E revisions. Sporting a Class-A line-level output amp, Midas transformer-balanced I/O, and a completely discrete signal path, the 76-KT offers killer performance for a steal.
The simple vintage-style button controls provide selectable 4:1, 8:1, 12:1, and 20:1 compression ratios, including an All-Buttons (all buttons depressed) mode, and a vintage-style VU meter lets you keep an eye on either gain reduction or output level with three selectable settings for determining the value of 0 (+4, +6, or +8 dBm).
Attack times range from 20 to 800 ms, while release times are adjustable between 80 and 800 ms. A -20 dB pad is selectable on the rear panel for extra-hot inputs. With a universal autosensing internal power supply, the 76-KT offers worldwide power input compatibility.
