The M23R from Earthworks is a reference microphone for SMAART, MLSSA, Spectrafoo software, TEF and RTA, and all audio-band measurements. It has a flat frequency response, can handle high SPL values, and exhibits a low amount of self-noise.

The M23R offers the same frequency response, polar pattern characteristics, and sensitivity values across its entire operating range. Furthermore, the mic can withstand a wide range of extreme temperatures, making it durable.
