M61 Small Diaphragm FET Condenser Microphone from Telefunken utilizes the TK61 capsule from their M260 line combined with their M60 amplifier body. The mic provides a fast and accurate transient response, and can handle up to 130 dB of maximum SPL, allowing it to be placed in front of a variety of sound sources.
The frequency response is flat from 20 Hz to 5 kHz, with a smooth, airy presence peak at 8 kHz. The mic features a clean, Class A discrete amplifier for accurate sonic reproduction and includes a shockmount, a zippered case, and XLR cable.
