The EQP-KT from Klark Teknik, a single-channel, 2 RU audio processor based on the famous Pultec EQP-1A. Offering 2-band EQ control with seven switchable frequency points, variable Q control, and real 12AX7 and 12AU7 tubes, the EQP-KT performs just like its inspiration.
The discrete, Class-A analog circuitry provides the kind of musical tonal shaping the Pultec is famous for, with warm bass, smooth mids, and bright, airy treble. Just like the original model, the EQP-KT sports inductor-based EQ control.
You also get independent Boost and Cut controls for enormous creative control over sculpting your tones. The Bypass feature cuts out the EQ section for easy A/B comparisons when mixing or mastering. Balanced XLR I/O exploits quality Midas transformers for pristine signal integrity and minimal noise. Finally, the internal power supply is autosensing, ensuring global power compatibility.
