AKG GN155 Set/CK31 Gooseneck Microphone with Floor Stand

The GN155 Set Gooseneck Module with CK31 and Floor Stand from AKG is a 59″ gooseneck module with a heavy, shock-mounted floor stand, suitable for stand-alone use on stages or placed in front of a lectern. A supplied screw-on extension tube can be used to raise the microphone for tall users and in choir applications. The GN155 has an attached 33′ (19 m) cable with XLR phantom power adapter. It is suited for use as a lectern microphone in houses of worship and meeting halls.
The gooseneck module fits all DAM Series capsules, CK31, CK32, CK33, CK47 and CK80, via its contacts.
AKG CK31 is a modular cardioid microphone capsule designed for use with the AKG GN series, HM 1000, and LM 3 gooseneck, hanging and lavalier microphone fixtures. The cardioid polar pattern minimizes noise and ambiance at the off-axis (sides) of the microphone. The result increases directivity and provides high gain-before-feedback response when using near speakers or monitors.
The wide frequency response of 50Hz to 20kHz minimizes low frequency noise caused by wind and proximity effect while reproducing audio signal with great accuracy and rich detail. The dual wind screen design employs an outer layer which disperses initial wind stream while the second layer further diffuses the wind stream before reaching the diaphragm. The module design allows quick and easy capsule replacement for added flexibility.
