The NuQ-8DP Compact Self-powered 2-Way Loudspeaker from Turbosound is a compact self-powered two-way loudspeaker that features Class D power amplifier module, utilizing 96 kHz DSP technology. It consists of a front loaded 8″ neodymium low frequency driver and a proprietary 1″ neodymium high frequency compression driver on a rotatable 100° x 60° converging elliptical waveguide in a reflex-loaded enclosure. The waveguide can be rotated within the enclosure, making it possible to swap the horizontal and vertical coverage patterns.

NuQ-8DP’s features a Powercon connector that provides mains input to the amplifier and 3-pin XLRs which are used for input and parallel link signal connections. RJ45 network connector enable multiple loudspeakers to be controlled and monitored over a BVNet network using TurboDrive software (not included). The cabinet is finished in black semi-matt textured paint, and includes rigging points for use with flying yokes and M10 shoulder eyebolts. The speaker can be used in mobile speech and music sound reinforcement applications.
