QUEST QTRPS REMOTE PAGING STATION

The remote paging console can work together with the Matrix to set up a 32 zone paging system. Each Matrix can accommodate 2 remote paging consoles which may be identified by dipswitch settings. Each remote paging console is designed for an eight zone paging capacity, while an extension keypad may be added where more than 8 zones (and up to 32 zones of paging) is required. A maximum of 3 extension keypads may also be added.
The communication between the Matrix 88 and the remote paging console is achieved via industry standard CAT5 cable which is also used to provide the DC24V power to the paging console when the communication distance is < 50 meters.
For distances of more than 50 meters, communication requires the addition of a DC24V power supply to the paging console through the power input on the rear of the remote paging console.
2 or 4 tone selectable pre-announce chimes are built-in for use before announcements. A no chime option is also available by turning the option OFF.
