The WL3082 WideLine-8 Line Array Loudspeaker from QSC uses two high-power, neodymium magnet, 2.4″ voice-coil, 8″ low-frequency drivers in a two-and-a-half way configuration.
Both woofers produce low-frequencies. One of the woofers covers the mid-range for increased horizontal directivity control in the crossover region. The 3″ voice coil neodymium magnet compression driver with a titanium diaphragm allows for a high-frequency output and clarity.
The compression driver is mounted to a multiple-aperture diffraction waveguide that provides a wide horizontal coverage of 140°. The low-frequency capability of a WL3082 array extends to 62 Hz (-10 dB) which is adequate for speech/vocal and acoustic music program material.
