The DD11 Dime Distortion Pedal from MXR delivers thick, hard-hitting distortion that cuts through the mix when playing rhythm or leads. It is designed for use with electric guitar in applications for live performance, recording, and more.
It features a 3-band EQ comprised of Bass, Mid, and Treble controls, as well as controls for Gain and Output, and a proprietary Scoop switch that cuts mids at 1 kHz by -22 dB (indicated by a yellow LED) for the heavily scooped Dime sound.
It is powered by two 9V batteries or an 18 VAC adapter such as the Dunlop ECB004/ECB004E (included), or a DC Brick power supply (sold separately).
In addition, the Dime Distortion includes 1/4″ input and output jacks, and has a footswitch that toggles the effect on and off. A red LED illuminates when the effect is actived.
