The CSP202 Custom Comp from MXR blends modern and classic compressor technologies to deliver a pedal designed for discerning players who want to refine their sound.
The Custom Comp features a renowned CA3080 metal can IC (Integrated Circuit) for increased dynamic range, greater transparency, and quieter operation, and also includes RF suppression components for interference-free operation. Top-mounted Sensitivity and Output controls regulate the compression ratio and effect volume level, while internal Attack and Trim controls allow you to fine-tune the speed of the note’s initial attack, and adjust the frequency response of the compressor.
A TPDT (Triple-Pole Double-Throw) footswitch turns the effect on and off with true bypass circuitry, and a red LED indicates when the effect is on. Finally, the Custom Comp is powered by either a single 9V battery or a 9 VAC adapter such as the Dunlop
