This special edition version of the 8040B marks a return back to Genelec’s classic designs. The raw aluminium finish was designed in close collaboration with acclaimed industrial designer – Harri Koskinen. The eye-catching design is fashioned from recycled aluminium.
The fact the monitor’s do not require painting also makes them friendlier for the environment. The raw aluminium finish features distinct patterns from the design process. These will be unique to you, with every monitor featuring varying pattern aberrations.
The Genelec 8040B features two powered amplifiers for optimised performance value. The bi-amplified design ensures optimal audio performance and fidelity, by assigning each of the two frequency bands with their own individual amplifier.
This helps to optimise the audio fidelity and performance, ensuring you hear every nuance of the audio as it was intended. The amplifiers are designed to power both the woofer and tweeter individually.
