The Behringer 1273 2-Channel Mic Preamp and EQ is ideal for audio engineers and musicians seeking vintage warmth with modern reliability. Featuring all discrete Class A circuitry, it delivers the highest signal integrity for classic vintage character.
Custom-built Midas input and output transformers ensure excellent sound quality and depth, while the electronically controlled 80 dB stepped rotary gain switch offers extreme precision and low noise. This preamp offers mic, line, and instrument inputs for capturing any kind of source.
Once you’ve set your gain, however, you have a three-band parametric EQ, with low and high shelving, a sweepable midrange band, and a high-pass filter for cutting low-frequency mud to achieve clarity and a sculpted signal that fits perfectly into the mix.
The 1273 also offers phantom power, phase inversion, and a tone switch to adjust transformer impedance for extra utility with any kind of microphone or recording arrangement.
