ในปัจจุบันนี้หลายคนคงรู้จักอุปกรณ์อย่าง iRig กันเป็นอย่างดี ซึ่งทำให้ iPhone iPad หรือ iPod Touch กลายเป็นแอมป์ หรือเอฟเฟค โดยมีฟังชั่นให้เลือกมากมาย มาวันนี้ค่ายแอมป์ยักษ์ใหญ่อย่าง Peavey ก็กระโดดเข้ามาเล่นสู่ตลาดนี้บ้างครับ โดยการออก Peavey Ampkit Link มาโดยใช้เชื่อมกับ Application ของ Ampkit เอง.
จุดเด่นที่สำคัญเลยของตัว Ampkit Link ตัวนี้คือการที่มันมีระบบที่ทำให้ตัดปัญหาเรื่อง Feedback ไป ซึ่งหากใครเคยใช้ iRig แล้วเปิดเสียงแตกมากๆน่าจะเคยเจอปัญหาเสียงวี๊ดๆ หรือเสียงฮัมแรงๆ ตัว Ampkit Link ตัวนี้ก็จะตัดปัญหาในส่วนนั้นไปครับ ถือว่าเป็นเป็น interface ที่ใช้งานจริงได้ดีมาก.
ในส่วนภาคของ Software นั้น ได้รับการพัฒนาจากทีมวิศกร Peavey โดยมีการจำลองแอมป์ที่หลากหลายมากมายทั้งในของ Peavey เอง และจำลองยี่ห้อชั้นนำมาเพียบทั้ง Fender, Marshall, Mesa, Budda เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ยังมีการจำลอง Cabinet จำลองเอฟเฟคก้อน จำลองไมค์รุ่นดังๆยอดนิยมอีกเพียบ ในโปรแกรมสามารถอัดเสียงกีตาร์ได้ สามารถอัพโหลดเพลงเข้าโปรแกรมแล้วเล่นตามไปได้ มีเครื่องตั้งสายในตัว.
The AmpKit LiNK from Peavey is part of the AmpKit system developed in conjunction with Agile Partners. The AmpKit is a guitar amplifier and effects application for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The AmpKit LiNK is the high-fidelity audio interface part of the system for connecting a guitar, bass or other line level source to the application.
The AmpKit Link was specifically designed to provide solutions for the iPhone platform. Unlike unpowered guitar interfaces that suffer from feedback when using headphones, AmpKit Link is a powered device with circuitry that virtually eliminates feedback. A stereo mini output can be connected to headphones, powered speakers or a PA.
The interface can be used with any recording, processing, or tuning application, including Agile Partners’ GuitarToolkit. The unit is not compatible with the first generation iPod touch.
